Inauguration Ceremony of DataSoft new office premises and IoT Lab

DataSoft inaugurated its new office premises and IoT Lab through grandeur program on 13th November, 2016. ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the country’s first IoT lab and new office of DataSoft accommodated with all modern facilities. M Manjur Mahmud, Director and COO of DataSoft was the keynote speaker in the event.
At the event, the state minister declared DataSoft as the country’s new private hi-tech park that will give the company a push to go into further innovations.Her Excellency, US Ambassador to Bangladesh Marcia Bernicat was also present in the event. In her speech Ms. Marcia Bernicat said, “The internet economy is growing by the day and IoT can boost it.” Managing Director of DataSoft Mahboob Zaman said, “DataSoft can contribute to digitizing the country, and for that, it is important to have policy support from the government.”
At the ceremony, Vice Chancellor of University of Asia Pacific Jamilur Reza Choudhury, BASIS President Mustafa Jabbar, Executive Director of Bangladesh Computer Council SM Ashraful Islam, President of American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh Aftab-ul-Islam, Michael Wang, professor of Columbia University, also spoke.
